When Sam’s Place was put in front of the Zoning Committee, Sam Grosso had his supporters submit letters of support to the council to oppose the concerns of his direct neighbors who spent time and money trying to find some compromise with Sam and Lia to minimize the negative impact of their proposed venue. Many of these letters in support can be summarized to “I’ve known Sam for years and I trust him”, “I like live music and I don’t think the serious concerns of his neighbors should trump my ability to see live music”
The purpose of this page is to call out the individuals, performers, and organizations that support Sam’s Place. These supporters sent in letters of support for and/or have hosted performances (legally or illegally) at, Sam’s Place. Apparently these people don’t mind money-hungry Sam hosting parties in his unsafe barn or that the noise is extremely disruptive to his neighbors, as long as they have somewhere to perform and attend concerts. I wonder if they would be so supportive if they could hear loud amplified performances from inside their houses.
